2-aminobutane
Last updated: 22/08/2024
(Also known as: sec-butylamine; butafume; butanamine; S-butylamine; 2-AB)

SUMMARY
2-aminobutane is a fumigant fungicide that may be used on stored produce. It is highly soluble in water and is extremely volatile. It is not persistent in soil systems. It is moderately toxic to mammals and has a high potential for bioaccumulation. It is a recognised irritant. It is moderately toxic to birds, earthworms, honeybees and most aquatic organisms.
