Adult is around 3mm long. Female has black thorax and orange abdomen. Males are smaller and darker. The wasp injects eggs into the aphid. As larvae develop inside the host it transforms into a black mummy. After 7-8 days the adult emerge in search of a mate to sart the life cycle again. |
